Introduction to your new iPad

  • What's in the box?
  • How to set up your iPad. 
  • What is the difference between iTunes (software on a computer) iTunes Store, iTunes Store account,.
  • You can use your iTunes account on many computers, iPods, iPhones, iPads.  You may only sync a mobile device to ONE iTUNES software program on a computer (Mac or PC)  IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND!!!

 

Things to keep in mind 

 

  • We are going to take our times etting up your iPads and Apple ID’s.  Take out a pen and write everything down.  (Don't laugh)
  • We will be synching content (locally and wirelessly) 
  •  We will learn about Cloud/services, de-mystifying the iOS management in an enterprise environment. 
  • We will set up an account that will be local to your iPad.  You can sync up to 10 devices with one account.
  • You must partner with their technology directors and technology team to understand firewalls, proxies and usernames and passwords.
