8:00 - School begins and you have a few minutes to check teacher schedules in PowerSchool so that you can make morning classroom visits.

9:00 - You conduct an interview with a teacher who lives out of state. You use Skype to make the call.

9:30 - Finally back to the office. Use CloudReader to get a document from a guidance counselor's laptop to your iPad. You can use this file later when you work on the schedule.

10:00 - Quick meeting with the administrative staff to brainstorm ideas for scheduling for the upcoming school year. Use Penultimate to write notes.

11:30 - Drop by the cafeteria and a student asks you about the science fair. You use Wolfram to help the student search for a list of chemicals.

12:30 - E-mail the secretary about information that needs to be posted to the school website.

1:00 - A teacher has invited you to see students working on projects. You snap a few photos and video clips and put them together in iMovie.

1:45 - You need to talk with a colleague in another school district about someone you have interviewed. Use LinkedIn to get the contact information.

2:30 - Time to work on a presentation for the school board. You create a presentation in Google Docs and give editing rights to another administrator. There isn't time to meet.

3:00 - The bell rings and you’re back to outside supervision. Make a quick note in Dragon about a traffic problem that you see in the parking area.

4:00 - Finally back to the office to return phone calls.

5:00 - Check on the activities in the gym and head to a community meeting. Open Google Earth for directions to the new community center.
