Almost all students use Facebook and other social networks in their everyday lives. It is important that we make learning relevant to our students. One way to achieve this is by introducing social learning networks into the classroom. In this workshop you will explore various online social learning networks / learning management systems such as Edmodo and Schoology. You will create your own classroom, explore the various tools unique to each offering, and fully appreciate the collaborative potential of these web tools. These social learning networks help facilitate the move towards a blended learning environment.
