Admins in our district just received iPads this week.  We had these apps ready to roll:

Explain Everything
Diigo browser
AppStart
Blogsy
Reeder
Pages
Keynote
Numbers
Evernote
Dropbox
PaperPort Notes
EasyBib
Edmodo
Voicethread
commoncore
CCL4s
iBrainstorm
Kindle
GoodReader
DocuSign ink
Assemblee
Subtext
Essay grader
Groupboard
Flipboard
Zite
Float
RL Classic
Cam scanner

Not even close to an exhaustive list. We are using “Self Service” within Casper to make purchased apps available to admins, etc. We also built walkthrough forms via our district web platform’s (Schoolwires) “forms & surveys” tool. This is very similar to creating Google Forms and mapping to the home screen. Fun times…

Audio Note. Not only does it record time stamps… but upon playback, it essentially turns each word into a link that corresponds to the timeline on the audio track.

Eboard App

A lot of administrators are using the eBOARD app to access meeting agendas, their contents and take notes.  It is free but the district has to use the eBOARD meeting product to “make” the meetings.
